The City of Henderson is located in the southeast part of the Las Vegas valley. Some great things about Henderson that are unique and special are:

Henderson has its own Fire Department AND Police Department. Response times
are faster because the police and fire services are nearby. Some other jurisdictions
have to share their police services, which slows down response time
Henderson has various resort hotels in the city, which provides entertainment,
dining, shows and even movies for the residents. The resort hotels in the City of
Henderson are: Sunset Station, Green Valley Ranch Station and M Resort.
Arenas – Henderson has two arenas that houses various teams in Henderson such
as the Henderson Silver Knights Hockey, Vegas Knight Hawks (arena football),
Vegas Thrill, and Las Vegas Desert Dogs.
Henderson has three excellent freeways that run through the city and provide
access to the entire valley. Highway I-11 is located on the east side of Henderson to
the east and northwest part of the valley. I-215 runs through Henderson and links
Henderson to the south and west part of the valley. And I-15 freeway links
Henderson to the rest of the valley and to the south, to Southern California.
Henderson has an excellent biking and walking trail system as well as a local park
within 2 miles of every residence.

Henderson has amazing golf courses! The public
courses are easy to get to and some provide
excellent views of the Las Vegas valley and
Henderson. Henderson also has exclusive private
golf courses for its members.
